As I have told you guys most people despite liking Koffi old classics don't want him to sing another Fouta Djallon and songs like that, Papa Mobimba despite being monotonous like Selfie were a success and now the Loi Remix is a success too, people want to seee Koffi release viral generiques who will get danced at parties, weddings etc, the people who want Kooffi to be like the old Koffi are very limited. Plus every time an artist outside of Fally or Ferre does a proper rhumba or a proper generique is like people ignore him, there is no one of the new Generation who gets a lot of attention when he releases a generique except for the occasional run of Heritier and when Fabro used to actually care about making music, Deplick, But Na Fillet, Beckham who did a great generique with Histoire and so on of the new artist when they do something proper they get ignored so I guess we have to listen to Koffi doing remixes, which is nothing bad since Zaiko has been remixing their old generiques how many times?

Honestly this isn’t too bad according to today’s standards. At least it doesn’t sound like Afrobeats or anything like that. I don’t hate it, and I’m glad it’s doing successful. Maybe Koffi will realize we want more dance songs like this.

Lol if he’s botting then that’s just really sad. I’m not surprised to say the least. I think the solution is simple. Create new generiques and seben songs the old way. But these guys are too stubborn to do so

That aside, if we don't like the song, and I personally don't because it's garbage to me too... doesn't mean the wider audience from the billions of people around the world won't like it as well. Our preferences are not universal. We dismissed this song even before it was released. Now it is grossing 2 million within a week. Unless there is proof(which am eagerly waiting for) then it shows how we are the ones who are removed from reality and not Koffi.

My friend I work in the media industry and I can tell when something has been botted easily, he got 2 million views in two days which isn’t something that artists in Congo get that quickly, also the algorithm isn’t right because if you have two million views there is no way he’d only get 39k likes and only 1.1K comments it doesn’t add up or makes sense. I’m not saying he himself did it but someone in his team might have done.
Like I said he lost his main channel due to botting views where he was caught botting the feature with Davido, it’s reality. It’s true there’s no 100% prove but it’s very obvious.

I work partly in academia and there we always give way to those who are authorities in a discipline so I can never argue against en expert in his field. However, I have seen other songs hit that mark in hours not days so shouldn’t be very unusual maybe RDC is an exception as you have stated. If he’s botting again same fate awaits him
