With Europe concerts back will Wenge 4x4 do a reunion concert next year in one of the halls? I think they can do IG Arena, Adidas Arena or even Bercy they could easily fill those halls. I know with Werra doing his concert in a few months he’s busy but I think next year is the right time to do it.
The last reunion was good but it lacked the magic because Alain Mpela wasn’t there and his stage presence was largely missed.
Also they left a lot of money on the table by stopping the reunion so abruptly and not following up with an EP/ Album or releasing footage or of the Stade De martyrs concert, because I was in Kin that time and there was hype everywhere but they never followed it. Not to forget them not live streaming the concert was also a very bad move that Fally and Ferre learned from.

Apparently, the final cut of the Stade des Martyrs show was broadcast on Canal+ in Kinshasa. It’s possible that Canal+ holds the exclusive rights to the footage. If that’s the case, we’ll probably never get to see the show, just like the interviews they did together and separately, unless they decide to upload it themselves on YouTube (which they don’t even have a channel for). Otherwise, people will just have to go to Kinshasa and hope to catch it on TV, with a bit of luck, when Canal+ airs it, similar to how Trace TV used occasionally to broadcast Kassav’s Stade de France concert on tv.

I don’t see them planning a concert next year, because with Werrason performing at the Adidas Arena (and possibly later at the ING Arena), JB’s team will probably push JB Mpiana to organize a show at Bercy or Adidas Arena as well. But with everything that happened around the cancelled event at Théâtre Gymnase Marie Bell, Mwana Nsuka, and JB’s quick trip to Paris, nothing is certain.

Speaking of Werrason, with him wanting to perform at ING Arena after Adidas Arena, I don’t think it was a smart move for him to perform at Couleur Café and then do a playback/semi-live show at Elengi in Belgium. People have already seen him three times now. I wonder if they’ll still be interested in the Adidas Arena show, unless he drops a hit right before the concert or brings in guests like Flamme Kapaya (which is unlikely since he’s now a converted Christian), Ferré Gola (I don't see him coming), Celeo (whose voice isn’t the same anymore) or Roi David.

If they do it next year it would be towards the end of the year, but they should get on with it they’re getting older. Like I said they left a lot of money on the table by not following up with a project after the reunion or not even showing footage when Marie Paul rejoined them.
