It seems like this is Ferre’s forgotten album - no songs from BN have been played in concerts in recent years

Although there were some good rhumbas I still listen to today, the arrangement of the songs on this album was extremely monotonous, with some songs sounding very similar to each other.

I wasn’t a fan of the génériques at the time, but compared to we’ve been getting for the past 10 years, they are on the verge of decent

I remember when Boite Noire first came out Ferre and his team were hyping it to be an all time classic and maybe even a group album. It’s not an all time classic but it does have some good songs.
