He says when he was about to leave in 2007 he went to french copyright company sacem and got confirmed that all his work in singing chorus,guitars and arrangement were credited to werra and he went to see werra and gave him a proposal that to solve the issue werra should buy him a landplot/house (which is the famous rumour of back then that he left because of werra not buying him a house)
the day after he called werra and it was the dancers choreographer mao manchester who picked the phone and he told him please tell pres that it was me calling and if he can call back
now fast forward nearly 20 years he never received that call,he is doing that video because sacem pressure him to go via legal route but he does not want it he prefers the amicable arrangement we love in africa he says its not about himself but about his family who deserve the result of his hardwork regardless of whatever happened after and he wishes by going down the amicable respectful way werrason will accept responding to the mail sacem will send him to sign the agreement so that he gets the rights he deserves
now knowing how our people are very emotional and wild,this week wont end before people make videos attacking him,i already know in the video alone without seeing that there might be a lot of "but you said it was satanic music"  and personal slander,but at the end of the day work is work many of us work or have worked with bosses who are in lodges but you still have to get your salary to feed your people and yourself
and he said aswell that he hopes that if werra accepts it would be a major historic turning point for this issue which has been existing forever with bandmembers

All the best but again if this does not work out for now, then it is amicable to use the redundant plan B.

I did some research and apparently Werrason is one of the worst offenders of this in Congolese music. He is credited as auteur-compositeur for the majority of Temps Presents and Techo Malewa. Even with Koffi, most of Magie is still credited to him as auteur-compositeur.

Who technically is the true composer of the best songs from Werrason's biggest albums then?

This man is giving them a chance to sort this issue out amicably before taking the legal route, but look at how he’s being insulted. I’ve just seen Tresor Limieure talking rubbish as usual. Kapaya has every right to claim ownership of those songs, and if I were him, I’d skip straight to the legal route, since that seems to be the only way some people listen.

Brigade tried to also go the legal route over the same issue but then we ended up seeing him at Werra’s concert lol if these guys are serious they need to unite and solve the issue for good

yeah because when they go to sacem to affiliate they ask them how many years of career you have how many albums did you participate to
i remember when celeo came to settle 10 years ago i came across him as was in neuilly where it is he was so angry with how he was given a hard time over all his pre-solo career work registered to werra's name that he was fuming and sitting on a bench punching his thigh out of anger and hammering a big beer
the hardest part in this war is that its still stuck in a lot of congolese people minds that hiring you to work is a favour not something you deserve,especially even more in the world of celebrity,they'll say you went to x group to earn a name because he is a star,while all them stars did not go straight from baby to star,there is loads of people helping them aswell in the process of becoming what they become so the "ungrateful" chain is long like a universe if we go by their logic

yeah,they have learned a trick which is that as long as they are logically claimed as composers of melodies,they can then steal the credits of the rest,because its proven now that they play guitar in the case of fally or mbonda in the case of ferre on albums so they manage
this what roga roga used to do to his peers,because he could play several instruments man could with full confidence go and claim for example etat major all for himself  even if people played this and that

i am certain a lot of musicians agree with flamme,but some will even make interviews to side with leader to look like "good boys" and the rest will just encourage him in private because they know they will be in a storm if they also act bold
we talked about brigade being at werra concert surely it was a " redemption" move aswell,because for sure he had to say "pres excuse" no way on earth he'd be allowed without an apology because its a major outrage in congolese music to confront leaders about rights
