There was no record label that could match, let alone surpass, the amount of money Koffi was getting from Sonodisc. Attentat was the final album under his contract with Sono. Several labels approached him, but they backed out after seeing Koffi’s demands. Koffi stayed with Sono as result, which became Next Music after merging with another label. However, both Koffi and Papa Wemba ended up getting fired, Next Music went bankrupt shortly afterwards. Koffi Olomidé had for the same reasons problems to find a proper recordlabel to produce Monde Arabe. From that point on, Koffi mostly co-produced his own albums
