I don't like Congolese artists based over here in the States (unless he or she is international) because there's not many Congolese over here like there is in Canada and Europe etc to support the artist.

understood. well as you stated this country just does not have the large numbers of congolese. we are in a lot of cities but mostly concentrated in areas like raleigh, charlotte and perhaps dc. new york city has some as well but not in the same numbers as other countries like senegal.

You're right, in an interview,this same guy said the same thing, he did his new album in Belgium as he says there isn't enough support in the USA and not many acclaimed Congolese music arrangers(well apart from Shiko Mawatu) who arranged a lot of Madilu's songs.
