papa simaro said something which might remain eternal in congolese music, he said he is not rich and has not gained much money  but thanks to relationships he got by being newt to franco,he has enough for a decent daily life
the same system continues today with group employees and   does not look like changing anytime soon

Hopefully archos will answer but in my personal opinion, Simaro is not rich because he was simply an employee of the late Luambo Makiadi Franco and not co-owner/leader of TPOK Jazz band although he was Franco's right hand man(number 2)
It's the same situation today where we have musicians like Werrason who is so rich but his right hand man the drummer Papy Kakol simply relies on a salary from Werrason and donations from friends and fans of the band and it's leader so Simaro may have acquired some houses and made use of the allowances he got back then to have a small business by the side and that's what bringing in money on top of what he makes from his current band Bana OK which is so much less popular compared to TPOK Jazz which was the biggest and most successful band in Congo when Franco was alive.

I feel what you guys are saying. In fact have always felt that Heritier is more fine financially than Kakol.Is  Simaro having strong family?

Exactly.  Simaro may not be able to buy a Bentley and have it imported from Europe, but he's pretty well off and very well taken care of.  He has a nice home not too far from my aunt's house in the heart of Kinshasa.

It's a shame that Diego music waited so long to release his album.  They started promoting it a year ago, and just released it in April.  Ndombe's album has been finished since before he death in 2012 and we're still waiting for the producers to release it.  It's pathetic.

It looks like Diego Music has gotten lots of heat lately. It looks this label may end if more artists who are under this label continue to attack this label.
