Fabregas just canceled his involvement in any concert, he should've taken it to the police and show them that he is being threatened just because of a performance.

A musician who is a citizen of a country and who contributes to the GDP of that country when attacked outside the country by a terorist, should not complain to his Government for action to be taken. This is why we have intelligence information which is transmitted by the mission abroad (Congolese embassy) to the Ministry of foreign affairs of DRC. Especially that the security of their president is threatened as combatufis are from the opposition side.

Although the chaps are officially listed as a terrorist group or so i believe, they are nothing but ordinary individuals with nothing much to do and have no power or influence. They do not possess arms so to the congolese govt they are just overzealous individuals causing trouble in diaspora and musicians themselves should be able to deal with them or start the process of dealing with them. These same combattants managed to get a lawyer in their successful blockage of JB Mpiana's concert at Zenith so why can't JB Mpiana, Koffi,Werra ,Ferre, Fally and other stars come together and hire big lawyers in Europe to tackle these guys and put them where they belong, in jail and detention centres. If some of them could be deported back that would send a message to the others that they cannot play with the liberties of others and expect to go free in democratic nations where they seek refuge.

Sly, i respect your opinion and your proposed solution. But me who has worked in Government for a long time, will stick to my opinion because i understand how bilateral cooperation between countries work on a number of issues including terrorism. It does not reqiure a private individual or individuals to deal with a problem that is cross-border related but the two or more Governments. This is mostly done covertly or through Joint Permanent Commissions for Cooperation.

This Issue happening between Combatufis vs artists has a potential to destabilize relations between DRC and those nations were Combatufis are so an artist does not carry the burden of the solution but the DRC Government. Period.
