I have been watching videos of new and current groups example Wenge Tonya Tonya the singers are just horrible. I heard them sing Daddet Autant and the singing was not to standard the guy who did Werra's sounded lost and the guy who did JB's voice also could not hit his high notes, I watched Heritier new group (I don't want to be harsh on them as they are new and raw too) but the same can't get Adolphe or Baby Ndombe vocals right or too standard in my opinion moving on from that they all sound the same the knew boys of most groupe take it from at least 2010/2011 they all sound the same no difference when I was growing up or when I was younger then what I was now each group had it's own style of difference e.g. Ferre, Mabiala, Ndombe, Lacoste or JDT they all sound different but they sing too together they bring out new colour but now when they sing as a collective it's either too much tenorists trying too dominate or it's too mellow (like Fally's group) I believe instrumentalist and doing a bit of better job than singers last team of good singers I must say is Alain Mpela's group the real one or Ferre's first team since then no difference everything is sound the same. Guys please share opinions it's good to here thank you 

i was actually think about that when i saw those videos  your analysis is spot on
 alain's group sounds very very mature and well balanced compared to most 'young groups"
yeah sometimes the chorus from fally's guys are like they are whispering(and same for fally himself)
one thing i also find funny in the groups is the way they do their impros(its blatant in very recent groups),you'd think they did lyrics together very very basics
we have less and less guys like montana kamenga who always create vocal with a deep message and matching the lyrics of the song well
