Just seen some info, he was one of Dakumuda's musicians. As most of us are aware, Dakumuda is baptised and doing gospel music.

that fella was with dakumuda,and did a spell in tonya tonya then went back to dakumuda and then went solo

Yeah nice one. Am impressed with the sound too. I think the moment people know how JP Kys sorts out the drums, he Ndiaye will lose lots of customers. It seems other studios don't know just how JP Kys sets up and records the drums otherwise the others are doing fine where the rest of the sound is concerned.
