Haha, and it looks like Bouro was trying to hold in laughter. I always wondered what was the point of all that when fans care more about singing abilities over everything else

They could've just made him a shaker player/ dedicated male dancer and occasional composer. I don't think any other band envyed him, which is  why his career fell flat after QL

lol thats partly depitsho's fault,he is not as bad a singer as he is made out to be but for whatever reason he messed up with his voice
in el paris he was singing well and in his solo career he did some decent singing

Let's face it he would've been untouchable if he could sing better I liked him though only cause of his dancing but why did koffi treat him so well and let him have the mic next to him if he wanted to mute his mic and what was the reason koffi dropped him from QL

Depitsho had built a big reputation in Aile Paris so he was a celebrity in Europe already (like JF Ifonge), which was unusual for QL.. In addition to dancing abilities and looks, he became an enforcer of sorts; reporting to Koffi about any potentially negative activities, including the plans for Bouro, Modogo, Sam, Pathy Bass, etc to form a new band. Working quickly to become his favorite

He quickly fell out of favor of the young 2gen QL even before Bercy. The likes of Fally and Champion actively worked to make his stay uncomfortable as possible until he left Summer 2000. There was a promo video soon after, which showed them celebrating his departure in the streets of Paris with Champion seriously dissing him by singing just  like him.

Many years ago I bought the VHS, when buying promo and polemic videos for entertainment was still a thing. The name of the VHS escapes me and it doesn't appear to be on YouTube

QL was being interviewed and celebrating in a wealthy arrondissement of Paris and when Koffi showed up in his green V12 Benz (which he loved showing off), they opened the door and lifted Koffi on their shoulders and paraded for the camera as a sign of appreciation for the personnel changes he made.
