BIG THROWBACK QUARTIER LATIN PICTURES
April 2001 - Backstage Zenith:




17 July 2001 - A day before his sold out Lincoln center show. I gave a few QL members a little tour of Manhattan and we ate at McDoos (McDonalds), which they preferred over an African restaurant.

Lol@ Nwana Nsalu. He is fair-skinned so his bleaching was totally unnecessary.  Good he has outgrown all of that now.

Judging from the pictures taken from bercy there was clearly a lot of footage that wasn't released I dunno why koffi released a short version on vhs he should have done it in two parts I hope one day a full version will be released one day

Thats because the french-tv channel MCM Africa produced that video and they wanted a 90 min-VHS, so that they could show it on tv. Because a 3 hours-VHS which Congolese producers made  its to long for a national and international tv channel. and the show was apparently not so amazing like it looks and it was far away from that of Zenith '98 and Olympia, so they decided to take only the best parts of the concert to make a good VHS.

thinking about it seriously there is zero bercy which is really better than their zeniths for me they all needed a second chance ,notice that with bercy the buzz was more about filling it to extreme than music itself

The Lincoln Center concert was such a success, CNN had a segment for it:


It was a pretty good feeling seeing this then.

He kept switching his hair color that year
