I love that attentat/ force de frappe/ effrakata era. The songs blend in very well when they mix it up from those albums.

This ended being "official" footage of the concert, rather the only decent footage taken by one of the organizers side stage.

When the arrangements were made for the concert we couldn't find a reputable U.S-based Congolese production company to handle reproduction. We tried to get NY-based Camara production - who was/is the biggest video producer for West African Mande artists, but he and his employees were in Mali at the time working with Kasse Mady Diabate

I'm sure he lamented on this because he and QL had lots of fun - they were all happy to be in the states. It was perfect timing because the events of 9/11 made it difficult  for foreign artists to get visas  for a number of years afterwards 

I've always wanted to see footage that is not already up of both of the U.S tours in the 2000's. They really packed that venue.

There was a VHS tape that was made for the concert I'l begin too look for it
