Mirage Supersonic.. he had so much momentum 10 years ago - initially from the QL vocals that fans loved dearly, then popularity of his generique and rhumbas like Mon bébé and Love Roger.





Failing to properly promote the album, he didn't gain traction as a artist. Last I heard he was in a enrolled in a musical academy and occasionally he has concerts in Liege.

These guys (Fally, Ferre, Mirage) were quite fortunate to the session backing of great QL alumni and access to great studios for their solo debuts.

I still have great respect for him, i love his second album "arrete moi si tu peux," well arranged.

What really screwing these guys's work is promotion, the problem is that for Congolese music there isn't a place that guarantees a sure promotion except the spiritual level, for the guys who likes to stay clean it is very hard

Yeah it sucks that he isn't more active in music or popular because his first album was really good and the second one was nice as well. He still hasn't released this video.

the problem of mirage is that he had everything(although he was not really good at dancing) to succeed,but he had the spirit of somebody like jean goubald,quite a lot into intellectual things rather than releasing albums
if you remember back in the days i said that the guys literally refused concerts back in the days of his first album because he found it pointless to perform when people can listen to songs at home
