Koffi doesn't have to thank Felix for his fame. Koffi Olomide was already Koffi before Wazekwa's collaborations. Wazekwa only collaborated with Koffi on the Koweit-Rive Gauche-album and Noblesse Oblige. The only songs who stood out which he gave to Koffi are Desespoir and Koweit Rive Gauche who are both not on Koffi's top 20 best songs. If Wazekwa came towards Koffi because he proved to be a big songwriter in the albums Diva/Rue d'Amour/Henriquet/Elle et Moi/Les Prissoniers Dorment who where luring girls and intellectuals to him who where appreciating his songs. With fans like Duc Herode, Wazekwa, etc. who wanted then to contribute with some proverbs and songs.

Koffi never considered Wazekwa as his enemy, he saw he just as a dangerous person when he started he solo-carreer and when he was on the top during the Signature/Yo Nani/Et-Apres. Because he though that he could steal his place away, since both wrote songs for Papa Wemba, both studied on universities and similar style of writing songs and the same music-style. That's why did everything to let Wazekwa fail in almost his whole carreer until the Adamu Na Eva-days, by sending people to threaten music-producers who wanted to let him perform abroad or produce his music. He never responded to Wazekwa's attacks directly in interviews, since the beginning of his career. Because he know that if he does it could boost Wazekwa alot, like JB did to Werra after the Wenge-split.
