Everybody knows that that Werra won the battle after JB's Bercy with after that JB being more focused on his war with Koffi and him getting more down when he got that 5 years ban in the Schengen area along with his first divorce with Amida. With him going to Kananga with Djo K. and some musicians and getting there the ring of power or something like that by the population

Btw JB's Zenith '99 was not sold out, due to Werrason performing the same day at Villejuif. While Werrason performed in an packed Bercy when JB performed the same day at LSC and he performed 2 days in a row at a packed Zenith in 2002 (called Double Zenith). Werrason performed 5 times (1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 & 2003) at Stade des Martyrs, while JB performed there only 3 times (1999 & 2001) and Werrason's crowd at l'Esplanade de Palais du Peuple in 1999 was bigger than that of JB two months before. The thing which killed JB's carreer is the hate from his rivals, who wanted to see him down, tribalisme, politicians entering the game, having a bad management, the 5 years ban in Europe and his private life.

I think Werra because he has more international appeal and has always had strong/decent teams which has produced better albums and concerts.

they sorted it seriously in private in 2001 towards 2002 from then  they were aware of each other's program and they were always discussing together about how should a wenge reunion happen they should earn wayyy more than the other ones
mampata played a big role in them talking too each other relatively fast after the split

That of 2000 was succes, but not uploaded on YouTube yet. They called it concert de correction, since they were not happy the way JB Mpiana filled Stade des Martyrs with a huge crowd, while their own concert at Stade des Martyrs in 1999 after the Europe-tour was a big flop.

in all honesty i think werra still then hold some inner grudge,like i said in a previous post,never count on one of our musicians to forget 100 per cent something but then they were also playing the game  basically it ended because jb got fed up of it after the  fikin incident which had left the camp of werra doing polemic almost against a wall for one year or so then they stopped (which is interpreted in a polemic way as jb asking for ceasefire and admitting his defeat which yanki alluded to several times in his recent controversial lives)

It is no longer healthy to discuss who won. As long as the Principals have burried grudges against each other. We know in our hearts secretely  who carried the Torch of Congolese music in the past decade. Let us discuss how Congolese music return to the top spot once again as we cherished and enjoyed in the past. Africa is losing crafty and rich music generiques to fake and non crafty Western music generiques.

There are no winners and loosers in these kind of mind games. Each artist has a huge number of followers and if you ask them about who is the winner, they will tell you the obvious. So its difficult to say who won and who lost

All of them benefitted greatly from the rivalry and public fighting, as it mobilised great crowds and Sales.

In a way the rivalry is normally encouraged by the leaders to ensure they maintain their fans, they create news to remain relevant in the music scene. This is the positive side of the polemic wars.

The negative is when the 'war' is take literally and fans attack other rival fans physically, sometime injuring or even killing in the name of their idol. Most of the time these 'idols' discuss and deliberate the devlopment of the 'war' between them, an doccasionally will comment depending on how it develops. when things threaten to go out of hand, the leaders tehn agree to 'Reconcile; in public and call on their fans to desist from violence blah, blah, blah

The money has been made and on to the next 'war'
