There are quite a few for me, but Danger de Mort stands out a lot. Wasn't feeling the album too much at first as it was overshadowed by departures and the releases of Droit Chemin, then Sens Interdit & Mirage Supersonic's Figure de Style.

Around the time BEK was being teased, delayed, teased, then released I started listen to the album more and realised how good it was (& the last Koffi album I listen to regularly). All the rhumbas are on point. And of course Fally's Pharmacien and Ferre's Insecticide. Both tried saving the best for their future albums, but the songs ended up being hits anyways





When it comes to natural sound (no bass boost, no overuse of synthesizers), I think the sound of the génériques and sebenes is as good as it gets. All the instruments are tuned perfectly, and every instrument is heard. Really wish there was a disc 2 with more sebene songs

Can't think of any right now, but speaking of Danger De Mort it was the end of a great Era. Koffi shouted out a few artists like Manda Chante, Wazekwa and Bill Clinton in the album. I like these songs.

Danger de mort was a lost opportunity he overhyped that album to death with the many concerts and apocalypse screaming "ntaba" to death, and also he kept showing off his super team with him bragging about him having F&F but he chose to have 12 songs with two sebene come on and some of the sebene he was playing at the concerts were used in skol swi and BEK I almost hate that album there's only 6 songs I like from that album

All Fally solo albums (Droit Chemin, Arsenal des Belles Melodies & Power). Especially Power I taught that it was the worst album solo ever made, but I became the biggest fan of it on the end.  Same for Arsenal des Belles, but in 2010 I started to like it and later even started to prefer it even above Qui est Derriere Toi of Ferre. Maybe because of the lack of sebene and having at that moment the image of Ferre being the heir of Clan Wenge, while he chose the odemba-side since the Sens Interdite-album. I was longtime hypnotized by Droit Chemin, Sens Interdite and Sous Sol, ignoring Danger de Mort, while i was a big quartier-latin fan. Almost 1 year later a started to listen to that album seriously and started to realize how good that album was and started to regret the departures of Titina, Roi Soleil, Gypson, Junior Kingombe, Apocalyps, Bridage, Fofo Le Collegien, etc. I don't understand why they suddenly all wanted to record a solo album instead of forming a new Academia along with Fally. I wonder if it was really their plan to leave Quartier Latin, before that the Europe-tour of 2005-06 started.

For my part I'll have to say Titanic,Papa Wemba's Pôle Position,Somo Trop & Monde Arabe.

Libre Parcours #3, Charge i used to hate that song but now I really love it especially the start, Ingredients of Itwe and Techno Malewa and many others
