I have noticed that in Congolese world Ferre is always the guy who is called lazy, without an international appeal and so on, why that?
Ferre really reached some high heists over the years but still not get credit like Fabro, Werra and so on which is absurd what is the reason behind this

it's a problem of marketing i think, situation is kinda the same with jb,even if they tour outside of drc 10 times a year a l sot of people do not give them that credit or some are actually surprised when they hear it
marketing because  ferre and jb will let spokesmen talk about it but insist enough on images while koffi fally werra can pay like 20 30 channels of kin to show on daily basis their tour and do it on social network aswell
so since they are in that constant "image building" it appears like they barely are known abroad

Yeah marketing is a big problem. Fabrice Mola was doing a good job when he was working for Ferre Gola. Remember how good the marketing and promotion was during the days of Avant Gout & Boite Noire. I was also putting the articles of French and diaspora  magazines where they were interviewing  Ferre Gola or talking about carreer. But then Fabrice got problems with the staff of Ferre in Europe (Base Solide). Just before Derangement he decided to leave Ferre Gola and deleted that Ferre Gola official-Facebook page with was very rich in information.

An other thing is that Congolese people forget very quickly. Fabregas is not on Ferre's level. Vita-Imana,Victime d'Amour, Chetani, 100 Kilo, Amour Interet, Meilleurs Moments, Biberon,Mercure, Qui Vivra Verra, 3eme Doigt, Zazou,Kamasutra, Diki Diki, Jao Ndombele & Porte Monnaie are now considered as classics. Not any Fabregas-album reached the succes of Sens Interdite & Qui est Derriere Toi. The succes of both albums were very huge. The succes of the Avant Gout-EP, made people think that Ferre Gola would past Fally Ipupa very soon on the international level (at that time he had in DR Congo a bigger fanbase than Fally). Espcially when Fally released Power, People were excepting alot of Boite Noire, maybe to much. The album was a succes, but alot were dissapointed, because they excepted more.

In my opinion, Boite Noire is not the best album of Ferré but is the one that has been the most promoted. QQJD is a high-bill album, I regret that he did not have a promotion such as Boite Noire.

Not to mention Maboko Pamba which was a huge hit between 2009-2010 and one the best songs in this career !
