Back in the 90’s until mid 90’s they getting alot of nasty money of people coming from London, Paris, Brussels, Switserland and later also Germany who wanted to be known espcially those of London. In meantime they are accepting money from dictators and their familymembers. Don’t you see how many musicians try to get phonenumbers from people of Brazza who are close tot he Sassou-clan so that they get money. Today many became gay to get money from donors. This all wouldn’t happen if Socoda (ex Soneca) were paying the musicians. With those tvchannels, radio’s, bars, etc. also paying those taxes so that Socoda can get that money to pay the musicians, but those bosses don’t care.

It was a big humilation when Koffi Olomide accepted to support Paul Kagame’s presidential campaign in 2010. I remember how angry everybody was at him, but people forget it quickly. I think that Koffi really needed that money after not being able to go to Europe and even being blocked by the Interpol to perform in other countries and having a problem with someone in Brazzaville (Mayor or son of Sassou I don’t remember).

Back in 2003 when Koffi was on the top he accepted an offer to perform in Rwanda, while soldiers in DR Congo were fighting against RCD and Rwanda. But the whole refused to go there (Fally, Deo, Titina,...) which made Koffi not perform there.
