How have we ended up comparing Werrason to Fally? We should be talking about Ferre. Werrason and Fally are in diffeeent generations for God's sake. They have never been in direct competition and their relationship has been good. Sometimes I don't even understand how we end up comparing Werrason to Heritier and not comparing Herritier to Fabregas, Robinho etc.

I saw a video of one combatant's from the UK saying Congolese artists are now welcome to perform in the UK if they want. He also attacked Boketshu for still insisting that the concert ban continues and even went as far saying he would personally provide security for those musicians who want to come and play since that according to him the ban has been lifted because Kabila is no longer in power.

the big issue with them is that one can say okay concerts are back then 50 will go hard and say no concert until the whole system around kabila is totally dismantled

You have two camps, a camp who are pro-tshisekedi and who are also praising Kabila now and you have a camp who's anti Tshisekedi (since that Kabila helped him to get the power in exchange to not be arrested and have the power in the parliament, army and senate) and pro-Lamuka (the camp of Fayulu, Bemba and co).

Kabila is very smart. Now the whole country and the diaspora is divided and they are arguing about the most sillest things and tribalism becoming more stronger. Tshisekedi is making it worser by humilating Congo in every speech by praising Kabila and stupid decisions. He invited Paul Kagame for the mourning of his dad with the UDPS-supporters clapping, forgetting that he killed millions people in Eastern Congo.

If they are divided, that's even better for musicians. For example if concerts start in the UK, the ones in Paris will also buckle to pressure. The only problem is that the musicians themselves are not united in this cause. Because what would have happened is to set two separate concerts in two countries say France and England so that the little resistance is subdued or atleast one of the concerts goes ahead as scheduled.

I really hope Fally gets to play this concert, it doesn't matter who's first to bring back concerts in Europe as long as the other artists are able to perform. Are any Europe based forum members going to this concert?

For real they do nothing but block concerts and make videos, some say they "fight" it's because of not getting shouted out after giving money, others say sleeping with their wives and daughters, having "obscene" lyrics, others cause of Kabila in power and couple singing for him.

I'm London-based and a university student, but that won't stop me from thinking of going there.

To be honest, I hope this happens! It's been too long since any congolese artist has successfully performed. I never fully understood the combattants problems with Kablia regime, but to me it's petty, it has nothing to do with congolese artist's performing in europe, even if they did support Kabila.

So among the people who got tickets... me. So I’ll be seeing him at the Apollo next month  and Bercy - I missed Koffi’s Bercy when I was young so can’t pass up the rare opportunity again

However, I will say... channeling @Jdog vibes  F’Victeam really needs Mayi Ya Sika like Koffi back in 1999 or the concert will run the high risk of being unimpressive unless he has 50+ guests on stage

I agree with Jdog I don’t wanna see that same old line up he usually brings abroad who always look tired, someone needs to tell him that or otherwise I’d rather he uses session artists again.

Another person I don’t wanna see actually is Identite I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again he’s overrated. I’d much rather see Boussole, Kabuya (very highly unlikely) and Doubai (who reminds me a bit of Jean Louis Manzungidi 1st QL atalaku and Mboshi Lipassa but with less power) I find them better than him.
