He says he knew jb already long ago outside music(hence the shoutout in la vie of adolphe) he went to europe in 1991 and in 1996 when wenge came the group he was singing was invited to perform before wenge and its there that jb realised he actually was a singer and encouraged him
then when wenge split he had been getting a lot of people telling him to join bcbg and he meet jb in 1998 then in 1999 after zenith and jb asked whether he was ready to settle in kin because he could not be in bcbg and remain in europe so he said yes and jb told him if you have things to send to kin so that by the time we go back to kin in next tour you can bring it and i pay fret for you,so he sent his two cars he had then and some clothes to kinshasa and when bcbg had released th he officially joined the group
and he was one of the "soldiers" of bcbg,in terms of how musicians were meant to be back then, several cars,several girlfriends who even fight for you( which was actually seen as something positive lol ),hard partying....and he sang on internet and anti terro
and never had any problem in bcbg,never suspended never argued with anybody,and he decided to leave for personal reasons,because he had left several children in europe and he had to handle some responsabilities as a good parent,and his girlfriend of then who is now his wife bibi sucre decided to leave with him and he says he never ever had any problem in bcbg about being the boyfriend of a dancer(several cases happened,caludji and monica,afande with monica and miette,kibens and maguy,genta and zambrotta and another one previously in the zenith days....)and jb did not care about that
but he felt guilty because jb was already in trouble with visas and two members of his group remained again in europe so when he went to kin for the first time in recent years he went to see jb face to face and clear it out that it was not planned and not in a malicious way that they stayed,he had to stay but then bibi panicked about returning alone and losing him so she remained aswell
and he had not appeared in media because he had nothing special to say and he could not appear just to talk shit in order to stay relevant so he took his time to deal with his personal issues and now that they see him it means there is something which is about to happen in music
dammmmnn him and copa,the only difference is that he had that super deep voice at times that abel and chico also did afterwards other than that both his singing voice and his speaking is same to doudou,same accent... plus some super deep at times
