i did not watch the video, but which leader who does group albums credited musicians at SACEM? If there is one who exists i am curious to know since to be  credited at sacem you have to be affiliated there, which ferre fally and co were not when they were group members maybe they re claimed their rights after
and also anyways even the solo albums copyright are never totally true, there is barely an artist in DRC who does solo albums with only his ideas in the songs

Fally Ipupa is the only one, Werrason credit his musicians as author and himself as composer. I was little bit suprised about Werrason, because Baby Ndombe claimed back in 2005 and later also Bill Clinton, that Werrason was fully crediting those songs 100% on his name. But its still wrong, because it were Flamme, Japonais and those pire petits with who they were reheasering those songs at home were coming with those melodies before fully rehearsing it at La Zamba Playa. So its  actually the musicians themselves, Flamme and/or Japonais who deserve to be credited as composer.

Ah okay nice then ,but i think composer should always been instrumentists since they are the ones doing the most of melodies, which is why for example  papa wemba would credit sec bidens a lot as composer, or like makaba credited himself on i think kin e bouger
i think its a very serious and complex issue  which can be better explained by professionals of copyright, given the system of our music which is quite different to most of the world i doubt there is other countries where you'll see on the pocket one name, then the guitarist has one song 5 singers a song each the drummer...

I thinking back about it, it made me think about the extrat of the dvd "Guerre de Generation" of journalist Francis Kakonde, where Maika Munan called one of the bandleaders "l'escroquerie du siecle". Because of crediting songs who aren't even writing by him, but it could also be that he was talking about Ferre Gola. Because he said that the artist wasn't able to write and back in those days there was a polemic, about Maika Munan refusing to arrange Ferre's album Sens Interdit. With people saying that he took Fally part in the Ferre vs Fally-beef, while Maika himself gave the reason that the time given to arrange his album was to short.
