A parent giving advice to his daugher, saying that she has to go to school to like her brother Fabrice, in order to feed them (his father and mother) one day. Singing that with the little he gets, he put all the hope on his children, refusing to go out (partying) and doing La Sape, just for the life of his children. He signed his children up on expensive schools, etc.

For years I've been thinking the same thing a man like Defao with goods but hasn't been married.

Sometimes people want to focus on their careers and not anything else. Marriages are hard and can lead to problems nowadays.

What is the real reason for the separation of Defao and Montana?

He had girlfriends/wives but he ended up by getting cheated by them. Back in the days when he started to get succes with Big Stars, rumors were spread that he was cursed by an old man in Kisantu. It was said that he made a girl pregnant, but refused to recognize the child, which made the father of the girl furious, cursing Defao and saying that he would never be able to get a child in his life and become like a woman. That was  during the days that he used to live in Kisantu. 2 years ago he made an interview with Carine Mokonzi and he said that he had a relationship with Julie Zulema ('aka Lumiere ya Trocadero) during the days of Grand Zaiko and later with Engudunku, but he got dissapointed in both relationships (I remember him also having another wife after Engunduku, but that also ended).

Later on during the days when he toured in the USA back in 1999/2000, rumors were spread that he was gay, but it wasn't taken seriously, because it was very rare to hear about it in the Congolese community back in those days. Then some years later when a musicpromoter/sapeur died, who used to be close with Stervos Niarcos & Egue Toyeye, etc. (I won't mention his name), rumors were spread that he homosexual relationships with some Congolese artists (inclu. Defao during the days of Choc Stars).

The reason that that Montana left Defao, was because of that contract of Uganda, which the whole band leave Defao (Defao claiming that he fired the whole band). Back in those days Dr Congo was in war against Rwanda & Uganda (who were supporting MLC and RCD in order to put another puppet on power in the place of Laurent Desire Kabila), so they were scared to perform there in Uganda and they refused which created tensions, because Defao already signed the contract.
