Damn, the JB-Werra rivalry must've been serious business back in the days. I'm not surprised that fans from each camp were fighting each other every week, but killing someone over a couple of musicians? I can't really say much since I wasn't even 5 during the rivalry's peak, but killing someone's just a bit too much. I mean, it is only music. Not some gangland beef over who owns which ends or territory.

the jb rivalry was almost "copied" also by vita and imana fans given werra supports vita and jb imana there was also crazy stuff i remember comedian mbaliosombo saying in an interview that his neighbour gutted his wife who was for vita because he was angry to have lost and that she "made it worse" by making the plate he hates the most to wind him up
 it calmed down in the recent years with people wanting to "act western" to give impression of living a decent life and becoming muchhhhhh more supporters of real barca and co so much that vita imana is almost nothing now

the jb vs werra war was something else. Alot of people died for nothing and many people stayed with ugly scars, some even became paralysed. I´ve never seen a rivalery like that in Congolese music. It wasn´t normal anymore how people got divorced or were fighting just over JB & Werra.

It seems so mega petty! Like England losing to Croatia in the World Cup back in 2018.
