I am in Minnesota where you guys are well aware of the death of George Floyd. This has gone very international. It is not just in the USA but around the world. Fortunately his killer is arrested but his accomplices are still free (SMH). It is indictement on the fact that we are (meaning USA citizens) in nation with so much racism among us and we need to do something.

I am saddened by his death. Here in Italy on FaceBook and sometimes even in the streets people of all races are protesting and I agree with them. Italy it is not a racial paradise far from it, but you will never get killed for being black for no reason.

With that said it is just sickening, the reason people care about America is black people, AfricanAemricans have done everything even when they were slaves to do something for themselves and for every Obama, Malcolm X, Marthin Luther, Jordan there are hundreds of black people who gets murdered for no reason. This has actually started (the disgregation of civil rights and the plan to kill the black community dignity) in the 70's with the so called war on drugs of Reagan that was aimed at killing black communities by floading drugs to fund America's operations in Nicaragua with the Contras and overthrow any communist government or sentiment. I think tht America is a racist place against black people and that you can escape racism in America only by having money because with money even if you die ypu could really hurt the people that killed you that is why you will never see Obama or Jordan touched, bro you touched them and your whole family is over. Beside that I wish that black people had guns with them everytime and shot back at cops right away that is the only solution. I mean a black guy did that (unfortunately his girlfriend passed) and he got his charged dropped, the other reason is tht Kkk has actually secretly sneaked into police forces (especially FBI and CIA, ever wonder why the only functional black state were communist ones in Africa and South Africa which had apartheid in the 80's?) so it is probably that Klan judges and Klan policeman find their way of fun killing black people. Man I am so sorry for all tje black people living in America because man you fear for your life everyday. George did nothing wrong. He shouldn't have died this way. With all the injustices against black Americans and how they've been killed by those who are supposed to protect and serve, another set of nationwide riots were bound to happen. I don't support rioting and I believe that peaceful demonstrations do a better job at getting the point across, but I can understand that most of these rioters are feeling betrayed and unsafe in their own country. The rioting and looting, burning buildings is frustration held in for too long.

Told to stay peaceful when other black people were murdered by the cops, and they did. Then you have live on camera, a cop with his knee on a black man's neck for more than 7 mins.

I mean that's inhumane, it really portrays the picture of black people being animals. George said he can't breathe, he's crying for help, for his mum. It's unbelievable.

They are almost completely absent from any issues concerning the Mother Continent. Even when I studied there, at a prestigious High School in D.C. , I felt more discriminated against by African Americans than any other group.

Despite all this, Africans will drop all their domestic issues and go protest on behalf of African Americans. I can never forget the day Barack Obama tried to convince our leaders to accept homosexuality, luckily the Kenyan president was there to remind him of our African values. ( I got nothing against gays)

Point is; for once Lets Put Africa first.

Let America sort out its own domestic issues.

I think one thing that we need to stop talking about is black on black crime. It is a non-starter. Many African Americans do talk but where does it come from? Colonization and teaching of self-hatred by the powerful class. We need to stop legitimizing white supremacy by being too much into black on black crime stuff. I heard this from another black man at my job and I had to politely shut him down by point where it comes from.

We need to actually work hard to change the system because it is a system that encourages and demands for violence against people of color especially African Americans like us. Because if not, then the system does not function well (which is what we want). Therefore, we need to get people that believe in change and put in political positions but do also one thing. HOLD THEM to the fire and make sure they do what they say that they will promise. Once we do these things, then we will see a true change.
