Werrason is a limited singer. We all know that. He can sing. The main problem is that Werrason want to sing like a First Voice singer when he is a second voice singer. That is what kills him. If he could embrace his second voice role then he would be better. Also he is better as a backup or harmonist singer. Look at this song as example when he harmonizes beautifully with Heritier

Werrason has his limitations as a singer, but we should hail him for being able to become one of the greatest musicians of his generation, that is why we are discussing him here more than Manda Chante, Emelia, Alain Mpela who are better singers than him but having a great voice is not the only thing that matters.

Come on, Werra can't be compared to JB, Ferre, Fally, Koffi, or the other great singers of this and the past generation of musicians, calling him a 2nd voix is also an insult to Franco, Tabu Ley, Jossart Nyoka Longo and many other 2eme voix who can really sing. Werra's voice is nasal and I don't know why people outside of his court of jester gassed him up, do you see people talking about Werra now? Or his great voice? Werra himself knows he sucks at singing hence why he made a group system similar to Wenge BCBG 4X4 where he sings very little and let other people sing. I wish Nostalgie was sang by Werra completely so people could understand how bad Werra sings, What are the rhumbas that have stucked since Werra left Wenge BCBG and I mean solo rhumba not Heritier, Ferre, etc. Songs but songs sang by Werra, Werra doesn't even sing on his songs but talks because he knows he might get like brother Ladins Montana and getting exposed for being Mvuama ya ba faux chanteur, nothing to say about his management skills but we must be honest and there is no one more Werrasonik than me in this forum

I'm with you 100%.  In my honest opinion, Werra was not my favorite in 4x4.  I still rock with him, but compared to voices like JB and Blaise, Adolphe stayed in tune more than Werra did, and he's not a great singer either.  But compared to today, if I could get the old Werra back (who didn't get a shit about Auto tune and people around him who could push him musically again), I'd be happy.  It pains me now to say that I enjoy his generiques more than this rhumbas because he's singing less.

Eh... Manda Chante na JB Mpiana baleki ye moko, no justice. On the other hand, Surprise Kapangala was only one of my favorites because of Makaba. I’m not bashing Werra, I just think he doesn’t live up to his full potential as a singer. His Koyimbi Ko - Temoinage line up made him better, then those guys left. Then again I guess I can’t expect much, his brother seems to be in love with falsetto.

Wow what a difference, here he sings really well, because he embracebhis second voice nice tone nice delivery but in the years he kept forcing a non existing 1er voix why he doesn't sing like this anymore?
