As JB said The Music World is not a world where you can drink milk and play, Drugs are a thing, Babia is a prime example, and there are many other artists who do drugs but are able to mantain face/control the habit, Suzuki for the way he behave, for the way he talks for the way he contraddicts himself saying always the opposite of what he said before with conviction is a druggie, and it is in the same generation of Babia, plus he is the first "child" of Koffi so maybe Koffi closed an eye on his drug habit.

Babia first didn't drink alcohol, smoking weed and use strong drugs, but he came in touch with it after getting released from prison, living then with in Paris with Bana Ndjili who selling drugs (waiting for Koffi to come), with the years it became worser, having also his ex'wife (the mother of Prince) using it.
