We are not the poorest country, we are just the poorly managed country.

If Kongo was so poor, why is it rich in such resources such as Cobalt (the same Cobalt found in our cellphones!), Gold, Diamonds and etc.The main problem is poor management, non-effective business moves and lack of strategy especially towards outside forces.
Even Tanzania is poor, but some Musicians are very rich, Diamond owns mansions in Tanzania and SA, His fleet of cars consists of top of Range Cars, last year he gave his Mom na his former finance Brand new Toyota Landrcruisers. He also owns a Tv, a Radio Station and a Hotel. Music pays especially if you are an international one. Congolese Musicians like Fally Ipupa, Ferre, Koffi do not depend on congolese fanbase. Kofi show in Dar es saam was sold out 2 days before the show, and the entrance fee was 50 dollars. Even in poverty you will find 1000 people ready to pay that amount.

Because they saw how poor they are accepted the situation and changed it

Because they saw how poor they are accepted the situation and changed itEverything is political. Corruption and greed. If you live here in the States you see a heavy propaganda machine on Social Media by the hard right and Russia to sway voters’ minds. Multiply that by infinity in Congo. This has been going on for decades with the west (the CIA especially) having blood on their hands with the egregious murder of Lumumba. Remember it was just two years ago when Fayulu was heavily favored to win the Presidential election, now look at what’s happening. You have Fatshi who’s candidacy was suspect with Kabila lurking around. And people are still suffering. My fear is with this pandemic, Congo will have the worst luck because of fallen economies around the globe. Nothing will change until the country is given back to the people without manipulation. Until corruption is eradicated, nothing will change.
