He took a classic of our culture and instead of taking his time to make something interesting, something really on the level of the OG song, he made some easy microwave poppish bubble gum music.

The lyrics are bad because someone like Fally should remember that he represents Congo; ELoko Oyo was very good because the beat and lyrics were repeated, the message in the song was kept intact...not this.... I dont mind if you like the song, go ahead...I will always support all Congolese artists by downloading their songs on Itunes, but it doesnt mean that I will like them. Always support our music by not only watching Youtube.  All the fans of song, I dont blame you but it is not for me.  Peace!

Why are people being so negative? This is a good song, it may not be the best lyric wise but it’s pretty simple. I see people like jumping on the bandwagon a lot rather then just being completely honest.
The sampling is an excellent idea because people can discover the great late Franco’s music that way, Like Grande Prêtre JV said you guys just want to stay in the same long boring rhumba formula that when an artists does something different he gets criticized just like Koffi back when he did the crossover songs in Attentat or the late mon Vieux Bokul with Emotion.

I’m thinking of sampling “Mario” by Franco 

Tony Sad who featered on Papa Wemba's disstrack against Koffi (Okoningana), once made a sample of Mario which became a big hit in the Congolese diaspora living in France & Belgium and those living in Kinshasa who used to love rap-music. His song was often aired on radio's like Okapi and Top Congo, but the original version of the single isn't available anymore on Itunes, Spotify,etc., just the remix-versions (Zouk and R&B).

And in general, I'm not against evolution, as long as it's done properly. Even if we consider it our music, this song is lazy. It just relies on the sample. The lyrics are trash and there is no originality or sophistication. You just have that "Non" loop and Fally is just whining "jalousie" all over the track. I mean c'mon. This is basically what those 20 yo are doing in Europe and the US.: bubble gum pop bases on samples of classic songs. Lazy.  But people should praise it just because? Sampling does not make it a good song.
