Man this is sad for Congolese music, so basically France is giving in to state violence and even terrorism to an extent when just last year i believe they passed a law giving the police broader jurisdiction to monitor and arrest people they deem a threat.

blocking concerts is so far their biggest asset to maintain some pressure,as given the fact that music is the thing most congolese people have eyes on,its always their operations against musicians which catch bigger attention,which leads to some people believing that they only exist when its time to boycott music which is not really true
the thing is that,for  those who remained on the radical position(a decent number of them are satisfied as long as kabila is gone and some are even gone back to kin having past friendship with president or with the tribal thing) felix tshisekedi is still like kabila a muppet of rwanda uganda and western forces and who is improving nothing in the country while him and all the government and deputies associated to him are having mad lifestyle upgrade
on the side of musicians the biggest mistake they always find themselves in for me is that they always allow people to know that they are gone to see in the past big guys of kabila or now felix before coming to europe,so it always fuels the theory of combattants that musicians are used to come and break the biggest instrument of pressure they have,as their protests can even be overshadowed that day by two female youtubers attacking each other, or their actions when president comes limited  by ever increased security
so as it stands music is still where their actions catch bigger attention,which is why it always reaches a newer level of heat as soon as they see jb werra heritier with the ministers and president of parliament prior to coming to their concert or fally with the rwandan authorities who came to his bercy
and the problem also is that musicians do not like to arrive quietly there has to be fans welcoming press queueing up to interview,all this is always incentive for the guys to react

Where does this leave Koffi, Fabro and Ferre’s concert?

According to the police, this has mainly to do with the combattants, the past failed concerts of Werra in 2011, where it got violent. And also due to the damage done at Fally’s Bercy

Even if Ferre and Koffi did succeed in diplomacy and heavy security measures were applied around the venues, what's to stop the combatants from throwing their toys out of the pram and wrecking shit all over Paris on the day of both men's respective shows?

yeah indeed,they seem very determined to create trouble,and  the hardest thing is that the musicians tend to fail in terms of mind games on the way to the concerts,koffi is automatically suspected of suddenly making political statements just to try to win over combattants for concerts,jb werra and co give shoutouts to the guys all year long then are filmed and posted on tv in the offices of the guys before going to europe,so far no one has managed to fully do things underground and take them by surprise

Bro nothing in what you just mentioned has anything to do with the musicians, Artist taking pics with politicians is normal and not a crime...that shouldn't bother people.

i am not defending them bro,but what i amsaying is that when those situations of concert approach they always go and visit them guys and insist many times in their interviews when it gets a little complicated that they went to get support from the authorities,so it gives an opportunity to combattants to use it,and it influences french authorities,in all their letters combattants present the musicians as active members of the regime,so equally responsible to him of allthe bad things happening inthe country
and france to cover up to how they exploit africa will "be on their side" to pretend they understand their fight while they could not care less
if france really wanted musicians to have their freedom to perform nothing can stop them,inthe worst case it will be like fally's bercy a madness around concert,but concert still happening with thousands of people inside

SMH I despise combattants with a passion!! They don't do anything for Congo at all. Hope Ferre,Fabregas and Koffi can be able to play their concerts. Plus Heritier wants to play at Zenith and Olympia next year.
