I agree this is dumb as hell. Gims literally said last week once again he’s French and not Congolese despite being born in Congo, he said people need to stop calling him a Congolese artist and call him a French artist which is fair enough. But don’t turn around and accept being named the ambassadors for Rumba when they don’t even make rumba music, it doesn’t make any sense. This is just a publicity stunt

What do you expect when you have people like Koffi the man who supposed to set an example and be the role model acting and constantly provoking others and acting like a child. If I was the president I wouldn’t give it to any of them either.

They’re french before they’re Congolese that’s why, they embrace it a decent amount from what it looks like. They visit and spend time in Congo, their music they produce has some influence. But at the end of the day they are born and raised in france

for what they planned to do and what they are excepted to do with that role if well executed they are by far in the best position

This makes perfect sense. Our artists are so childish that they’ve seriously ruined the culture.
