Poupa is limited as solist. He tried to reproduce Beniko's solo of Doless, but wasn't able to interpret it well and even stopped before finishing it. Maybe that's why Koffi kept putting him on the mi-solo position, being strong in creating new sebenes but having difficulties to interpret old songs and the at that time new musicians like, t Bourman and Mbetenge passing him and getting the privilege to go to Europe instead of him who was there already since 2002 and even the guitarist who's now with Heritier taking the role of lead guitarist when interpreting old rumba's (I don't remember his name, he used to be in Pierette Adam's band and Wenge Kumbela of Aime Buanga along with Alvarito B-52 of F-Victeam)
