I never put attention on the music of brazzaville before Extra Musica. I only knew the names.  I would like to know the history before Extra Musica (Fofana Moulady, Fernand Mabala, Rapha Bounzdeki, Chairman Koyo, etc.). Brazzaville was really the place for artists that didn't breaktrough in Kinshasa to get a second chance. I would like to hear Ade Lokole and Yves Tshum-Tshum talk about their experience in bands of Brazzaville before joining Victoria Eleison. I heard that Adricha Tipo Tipo also spent some time in Brazzaville as musician. The list of Kinshasa musicians in Brazzaville must be very long because they were there already many since the days of Tabu Ley.


The name of Werra's monkey was Wele right ? and Tutu Kaluji just before the Wenge-split even having made an animation for him and Werrason. I saw him in the footage of Stade des Martyrs when they were performing for ADFL. Its really sad how he died. According to Kony Star, Sankara de Nkuta and other guys were waiting for Werrason at Beach Ngobila to receive him after touring in Brazzaville. In meantime they let him drink beer and put him in the trunk of Werra's car. Then when Werrason arrived he asked where Wele was and when they opened the trunk they discovered that he passed away because of the heat there and the alchohol he drunk. Werrason was really sad and according to Kony Star, it was one of the saddest moment in his life because that day coincinced with the arrival of Wenge BCBG that came back from Europe.

Most people living in Europe come from Kimbanseke followed by N'djili. But most coming from Kimbanseke are/were ashamed to say that they were from Kimbanseke and would often lie that they were from N'djili or just say Tshangu-disctrict which unite N'djili, Masina and Kimbanseke together. some would just the area were a relative lives. Pa-Kelly saying that Zacharie Bababaswe used to sleep sometimes in Kimbanseke to see their concerts, explains why he knows to quarters like Maviokele, Biyela and Kingasani ya Suka well and citing them sometimes when talking about Kinshasa. I was surprised to hear that Rigo Star comes from Kimbanseke. Maybe that he just lived there for a short moment. Because I remember Jean Louis Bikunda saying that his dad who's muteke were displaced from their village in Limete and were put like Rigo Star's family in Ngiri-Ngiri and other bateke in the quarter Mombele which was founded by Stervos Niarcos' father Pierre Mombele. Rigo Star living either one street behind them or the same street. I dont remember since its years ago that I followed the interview. The same for Pepe Kalle. He's from Lingwala. Papy Tex or Boeing 737 then once said that he moved to Kimbanseke for a moment because his mom divorced and the marriage not lasting long which made him return to Lingwala. But Madilu was a real muana Kimbanseke and back in the days many people coming from Kimbanseke being mad against him about denying that he was from there. he used to say sometimes in interviews that he was Bandal. There some sources that he's from Matadi and came to Kimbanseke on a young age. but him on a later age not wanting to get bullied about coming outside Kinshasa.
