Looks like z-ndule saved it from ina congo's original channel that got closed. so sad  how all rare videos got lost in one second. ina congo hasn't be active anymore for months after re-uploading some videos in better quality on his new channel.

i hope to see the full concert one day. old london concerts very rare compared to paris and brussels concerts. probably because of most producers buying the image only selling it in the uk itself and the not the rest europe where congolese people were living (france, belgium, germany, holland, italy, portugal, sweden..)

1999 was the last year for bands to not wear uniforms during important events. All bands slowly adopting quartier latin's style about only the bandleader not having an uniform. even nouvelle ecriture which was part of Viva la Musica adopted it while  their ideology normally being to wear expensive brand clothes at concerts

Was it common for Adolphe Dominguez to start the show before Werrason would arrive?

Hmmm. not really. They started doing it  Solola Bien. It already started from the concert at Palais des Sports (althought Adolphe's intro not being on the VHS).

Before Intervention Rapide they were letting Ferre and co sing 1 or 2 songs and then coming on stage together and after a moment Adolphe having his own space for 1 or 2 songs with the guys. After Solola Bien, they would let the guys do the intro, then Adolphe coming in to sing La Verite and after that Werrason doing his intro starting the concert by the seben of fredy movadi or surprise kapangala and sometimes augustine with the rest following.

Adolphe presents the musicians here because he and Werrason hadn't returned back to London since their last concert over there with Wenge 4x4 in 1996/97. Wenge Maison Mere was totally new for the fans with some not knowing their name. So Adolphe had to present them.
