he is working on his album like planned in his return(just that he decided to step out again) and says that he was the person who motivated wazekwa to go for martyrs, because wazekwa  is the type of people to underestimate himself and doubt he is capable of big things even when in reality he can  do it
he is not too happy with the koffi wazekwa reconciliation especially the way it has gone public,he would have prefered them to remain on cordial level of hello here and there wheras now they are probably closer than before,he did not like the fact wazekwa went to cindy's concert without a cultura member and the fact that for the second day of their feat all of a sudden it became a question of text messages to be selected like it was happening in quartier latin,so he feels like koffi is now the leader of cultura(while it was just a matter of having a chorus  including both groups like it is also happening in the feat with fabro),because wazekwa accomodates koffi too much to extent of letting him apply his principles in their feat
he also revealed that he was meant to sing ikia with koffi but he wanted first to sign his contract so he rejected the opportunity that day and the rest is history

Loool does this guy think he’s God or something? Who is he to say he’d prefer them to be civil. Basically he’s still salty the way Koffi booted him out of QL. Really and truly he suspects Koffi influenced Wazekwa to drop Joss because Wazekwa did that interview not long ago saying he was unhappy with joss not informing him his plans and not coming to rehearsals or concerts anymore and he was out of the group.

its been his position for years lol back in that reunion when he came to "apologise" koffi and wazekwa talked briefly on the phone about a common friend about to get married or something like that,he spent the whole night trying to warn wazekwa that koffi this koffi that and how it would break cultura's momentum to reconcile with koffi and all that
i think you are right because he thought latino would be a stepping stone to solo career while it was a move sideways,he went solo with less hype than he had as cultura's chef
i think also he was deep down feeling guilty because since they rehearse at wazekwa's house koffi having restarted to visit wazekwa for hours he'd have meet them together but he is trying to pretend he would not be uncomfortable,it is evident that for all of them except maybe koffi who does not give a damn about things like that lol the first encouter would be very awkward

Joss should have went solo immediately, if he was going to leave Cultura in 2007. He had the support of Tshala Muana among other influential donors, I don't know what Koffi promised that convinced him that QL was better choice.

How do Congolese musicians promote albums, aside from concert? Is there a TV show or program they go on to promote new music. Why did so many of these popular singers enjoy success in groups, but they can't afford decent promotions even with donors.

The support from Tshala Muana and Claude Mashala came when he left Quartier Latin not when he left Cultura. He left Cultura immediately for Quartier Latin after being offered money from Koffi. He didn’t leave Cultura to start a solo career. He had a project to record a solo album sponsored by Wazekwa but he felt that there not real support.

In the time of Zaïre you had several tv shows mean to promote bands and solo artists. Back then it was also easy to known because you had until 1990 one tv-channel called Tele Zaïre. Back then you had also several recordlabels owned by Congolese businessmen.

Many artists don’t succeed because the financial support they get isn’t enough. Congolese people themselves also not being easy because of only liking those who are known. Felix Wazekwa said it himself in interviews that it was really difficult for him to succeed because of that. Giving the example people saying in a shop with a bad tone “who’s this guy” (oyo lisusu nani ?). But it’s because his determination that he succeed (After 5 albums).

Another is that many tv-channels are friends of bandleaders. So for ex’ bandmembers it will be difficult to succeed because of automatically a ban starting against them. Unless if the the boss got problems with it’s former leader (late Michel Ladi Luya & Shabani Records for example with Koffi and both guys pushing Fally forward) or having strong connections with businessmen & politicians of his tribe.

The thing about being too nice is that even when you do things for your own sake, people who have no business speaking want to give their opinion, maybe that's also one of the reason Wazekwa is blindingly following his brothers he was sick of being humiliated and desrepsected
