I agree with Archos!! It seems Koffi is afraid to produce quality generiques and sebenes like before… “Sans Nom” in my opinion had some of koffi’s best and last generiques and sebene… 13eme apotre had one stand out generique “Envoutment” Koffi is stuck in the papa mobimba days… it seems this 2nd edition was recorded separately…

I am actually sadden by the songs we have heard of so far. His generiques are just horrible. He could not have added solo guitars in those generiques. All of those are synthesizers which makes the songs not as good. His Anti-Divorce generique was indeed a dig at Aliya and Didi Stone. SMH. His rumbas are underwhelming but there are two songs that are very good to hear. It looks to me that Koffi recorded these songs in a poor studio place instead of a proper studio maybe to save money especially now he wants to focus on his love life with Cindy Le Coeur. Regardless, this album is not living up to what we hoped.
If I had to say the songs to listen to so far are Taxi, Anti Divorce, Embouteillage and Mama Ruffa.

Exactly this releases of generiques scream of overconfidence/easy route plus the extremely solo-duo minded new koffi who feels its appropriate to do 3 4 generiques mainly on his own in his own album, one was perfect, with his name already granting a semi success at african level given how big he is,he forgets that the generation of fally and soleil came good because they had attentat and force de frappe to "warm up" before completely blossoming from effrakata to the silent "split" of the group so if he thinks out of nowhere his group will be ready for a solid group album thats a bit too much confidence there

The duo with JR33 on Embouteillage is good. Grand Chanteur Type Wana. And Cowboy sounds like Willy Bula on Mama Ruffa.
Or moto asala le monde eza yo Nzambe tata, Kita okata po mokili trop matata, kata- Fally Ipupa

100%....in fact, those are the only two songs out of the ones put here that I am listening to. Almost close to the original tcha-tcho era

I like Mama Ruff and Embouteillage too. I found it interesting how he gave Asso and Blanchard along with Mukusa Mbwa a shoutout at the end of Mama Ruffa. Also seems like with the departure of Omba Koffi’s actually trying to push and promote JR 33 with who he sees as the heir to Fally along with that singer who did the duo in Mama Ruffa who’s the same guy that did the lead in Tshiboless. Because they actually got decent space

The album is out now everywhere listening to the finished final product versus the leaks, Koffi did make adjustments… for example Mbuma Koffi removed Didi stones shoutouts

Glad he came to his senses to release it on streaming, though I think this was the strategy all along to generate old school CD revenue

To be honest, this album has quite a number of decent songs and a few 2 or 3 rhumba bangers. In my opinion and responding to my personal musical taste, though they may not be as special as the 190s-2000s Mopao hits, it is not as bad as the initial general reaction was. Still over 25 songs are garbage.......

Top Top

Molili
Joyau
Mama Ruffa
Koukoulou
Olivier
Boutique

Decent
Fiana
Mwana Ndeule
Kayotte
Champagne
Embouteillage
Mbuma
Longue Langa
