Was it Titina or Seguin doing percussion on these tracks? I was wondering it, because Seguin was doing Ali Mbonda's role on Titanic and the tour. But I didn't hear him hitting the percussion very hard or playing it with a real devotion like Nacisse Konga, Ali Mbonda,  Jimmy Mbonda and Shora Mbonda.The same for the remaining tours of 1999 and 2000/01

Also the way the mbonda was played on the generique of Internet was different than the remaining tracks.

Jimmy Mbonda wasn't with them during the tour of Internet. Back then he was Ali Mbonda's back-up player, but on the end they got both left behind for the tour. Which made Seguin playing percussion during the whole tour. Jimmy Mbonda came to Europe for Bercy and played percussion for them during that tour also the one that followed in 2002.

Why did Narcisse Konga leave? I remember they left him behind a lot from the split until Zenith, I suspect they were afraid he'd run away.

yeah even before the zenith tour he was suspected to run away,seguin was on task to follow him indirectly (funny how seguin and his buddy kakol have the perfect same roles) and he ran away thanks to a woman if i remember well who took him outside of paris

I never understood why some musicians decide to leave during the tour instead of waiting until the end of your. He hadn’t even finished his job. Luckily Seguin was there to replace for the remaining shows (Madeleine, Olympia, etc.). That’s why I have respect for Nseka, Cele Mbonda, Madjeku Debra & Ali Mbonda. Because percussionists had always the reputation to ran away. For example, Werrason had already Tokyo Mbonda prepared as Ali Mbonda’s replacer, when Wenge 4x4 went to Europe for Anges Adorables volume 1 & 2 (thinking that Ali would run awa, only to discover that Tokyo tried to do a test in Wenge El Paris). Some bands started to travel at some point without percussionists. But Nseka & Ali Mbonda brought the credibility back. Sadly people call them stupid for suffering in Kinshasa and having ran away in the past.
