I always wondered why Titina got a song before Cambodge, now we know why.

Aaah mais yo pe. Titina is not a simple musician and he didn't start music yesterday compared to Cambodge. He had already 12+ years of experience as a professional artist and had a big name. He used to be Wenge BCBG's artistic director and had a key-role in setting the shows of Bercy, Zenith and Olympia up for JB. He was several times selected by journalists in the band of the year that they would form of artists from different ochestra's and put on newspapers.

When he joined Quartier Latin, he was seen as the best drummer in the Congolese music-scene, he created different drum-partitions that all youngsters (including those who played drums in Quartier Latin) adopted, toured several times in Europe and also already released songs that had succes  (Kama Vuama, Le Tenant du Titre and Tour Eiffel). When Titina worked on his solo-album No Comment, Koffi saw the way he was giving directives to session artists when working on his album and because of that he gave him the nickname "Grand Cadre". When having such artist in your band as Titina in your band, you will never skip the occassion to not give him a song on the group-album.

Although being a talented artist, I hate the way Cambodge always disrespect Champion Djikapela. Somebody of Quartier Latin should put him back on his place, but it will unfortunately not happen, because of Champion now being a Warrior. I've never seen as former musician of Quartier Latin acting the way Cambodge acts. He acts like someone of Wenge Maison Mere. It would not surprise me if he disrespected Felly Tyson when he was chef d'orchestre.


Why should Champion talk about him, Champion himself never rates him high because of this childish behaviour. When going outside the two Congo's nobody knows Cambodge name. In French-speaking Africa, if it's not Ramatoulaye, it's Champion, who's the most known drummer. Cambodge doesn't even a show that people always can refer, while Champion can easily pick Olympia and Bercy. Many drummers  praise Champion for the way he drummed on these shows. While people have often complained about Cambodge's way of drumming sometimes being to noisy during concerts, like a teenager that just started drumming and want to impress people. For example, when Quartier Latin was rehearsing Magie for Koffi's U-Arena and people saying in the facebook-comments, that he messed in the intro up, by drumming to loud, being even louder than the singers

I think cambodge still holds grudge for how he had pimples on his booty(ba boutons) after champion attacked him out of competition

I don't think that he holds a grudge, because I also saw over the past years some interviews of him attacking Titina for no reason. It's just his behaviour

Attacking someone over a position is not okay. But it happened to everyone in Quartier Latin, Binda Bass, Sam Tshintu, Lebou, Felly, etc. even Champion himself experienced it. But on the end, they all became family and have respect for each other

Cambodge definitely learned this behaviour during those years he stayed in maison mere.

i would always respect werra for handling in the same band at the prime of their stubborness cambodge celeo heritier flamme and to some extent adjani
that the three first have kept that trait and in the long run it has affected their careers
