Is Mudjona Dobbs not afraid to lose his channel by reposting that many videos from INA Congo ? Also is it not frustrating for INA Congo to see somebody else reposting his lost videos, while spending hours to get those videos from VHS to youtube ? He reposted like 12 videos of INA Congo in 2 days.

Me personally I’m happy to see those videos again, INA Congo should post the lost videos on either Vimeo or dailymotion. Also I kept saying what messed him up is him putting his logo on the videos like you can’t do that because it will look like you own the video and they will take it down, I don’t know why these channels keep doing that.

I'am also happy to see those videos back. But I think that it's dangerous on the longterm. I would have waiting some days or weeks in between to put it back or upload my own videos in between.

Youtube-owners do that, because  some owners of youtube-channels like to steal videos, without crediting where the video first came from. Them acting like they are the persons who upload it, forgetting how rare first those archives were before putting it on youtube, not knowing how much time it costs and dedication to put old cassettes on youtube. At the same time tv-channels from not only Kinshasa & Brazzaville, but also Ivory Coast, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Angola, Guinea, Benin and Mali use those videos. But they never credit these youtube-channels. While tv-channels like BBC, CNN and Arte often write in small the credits when using those youtube-videos or videos coming from websites, facebook, tiktok or instagram-pages the moment they are broadcasting it. By putting the logo everybody see where it comes from. Recordlabels and former producers can be mad. But they hadn't done any effort to release a re-issue version, when the dvd-era came. Also the majority don't even have these cassettes anymore. Some even take youtube-channels down and create their own youtube-channel, to re-upload in the same video from that channel, but in bad quality.
