I have not watched the interview. But I think that it's because nobody from Kinshasa knows who Patrouilles des Stars are and I'm sure that the journalist also didn't know about him otherwise he would have asked him more questions about it.

According to Kevin Mbouande, he left because he just wanted to live in Europe after that they finished recording their album Correction. Someone else I think Antonio said that he left because Denide used to  scam them and paid them peannuts for the album, adding that he said that he wouldn't pay and that they had to go to Equatorial Guinea for concerts, that he would pay the remaining amount there (which also not happened) and those who were against stayed in Europe. But I don't remember if it's the exact version, since I watched the interview 6 or 7 years ago. Also meself I don't really know Patrouilles des Stars. I just know Antonio, Waney, Kevin, Dede and their solist Cousteau Tshimpaka.

I only know about Patroyille Des Stars being the group of Kevin Mbouande and that they made songs in the past, It seems that Brazzaville only.matter if you talk about Extra Musica in Kin the rest from Kevin Mbuoande to Doudou Copa rarely get mentioned the only.other relevant Brazza artist big enough to garner attention from Kin is Arafa Tshena

The singer Madeson and their atalaku Daddy Saudian also stayed in Europe but everyone else returned. The other members at that time was their second soloist Merco Deux Mille, their rhythm guitarist and co-founder Delco Boukary, drummer Feriol R5, the keyboardist Tabazo (he played on Titina Al Capone's first solo album), and their bass player Moïse Maître Pay (RIP). I forgot who played mbonda but I almost forgot their dancer Moustapha Thuram (he is in United States now).

Thinking about them not doing Wemba's first part anymore, Wemba's concert at Bercy was during new year eve 2002. At the same time, there used to be a music-festival in Equatorial Guinea on every new year eve, where artists/bands from different African countries were invited and these concerts were very lucrative.
Denide probably preferred Patrouille des Stars to perform in Equatorial Guinea as one of the headliners and take a percentage from it instead of letting them perform at Bercy to receive small money. As artist it's frustrating because everyone dreams to perform at Bercy one day.



Thinking about Wemba's Bercy. It's crazy that the hall was empty. I think that it was a bad strategy from them to plan it on New Year Eve, knowing how many Congolese people are sensitive about the connection pastors tend to set between new year and religion
