What I like is again it shows we don't need to do the urban world music to get "global" attention from people.

yep, indeed, looking at it,none of the viral hits of such are really urban, even yo pe is basically sebene moulded into that programming stuff
original even more of a clear sebene, eloko oyo folk aswell,ya mado sebene, selfie having what innoss could have done with yo pe,both the programmed and the live drums version
he has been teasing another colllab with rene, this surely will serve as transition to his next urban album

Yo Pe Sebene? Really ? I thought it was more of a Congolese song but with a lot Congolese Swahili vibes what elements of it do you think are Sebene?
And you are extremely right on the Sebene part, can you believe that on my basketball training I have listened to one of.my teammates pure white guy having the phone with Rosalina by BM On? Italian white guy

the roots of the song is sebene,a lot of people dont know there was a live version pre record, but then innoss was not too sure if it would work so he reverted to the typical djizzo beat, you'll notice that he then took the gamble later with awilo, but the original underground version of yo pe even had the atalakus of his session band

i will try if i can get it,it was one my guys close to him who leaked like what do you think about it and i even suggested inviting bill, but that was the moment bill and innoss was going south because of some rumours and suspicion of him(still) dating rebo
as you know i am a big fan of bass and drums and all i remember from that version is that, hopefully he still has it cause i would love to hear it again

you see how this song kicks,it was something like that
