I still love this generique. I feel like out of most of Werra’s generiques this one has been overshadowed or gone under the radar compared to alerte générale, tindika lokito, sous sol, techno Malewa generiques and solola bien. Celeo carried as usual along with Kene Kene.

I think it’s because Ça Sonne didn’t have much time to breathe. When it came out, it was a huge success, but it couldn’t match the success of Alerte Générale, despite the cries of Kisanola, Kwanza munu awa, Werra Champion, Mwana avandi mabe, Ilo zapata, etc.  being there. One year later, Sous-Sol got released, which was a huge success, overshadowed Ça Sonne and made people forget about it in no time.



I believe that if they took the time tour with Temoignage in Europe or do a huge event around the album, like for example a double olympia or an event at Bercy, that people would link the generique to the event and not quickly forget about it. Because, Sous Sol was already on the market when Werrason did his event at Elysee Montmartre from the 2006-07 Europe-tour. In Kinshasa, Bralima was in autumn already showing the generique on tv.
