Which albums?

Nouvel Horizon's album VAR and Espe Bass's album Le Temps des Noces

Both albums are okay , but expect the fact that roga sang almost in all songs , makes it look like it’s his own project covered up by espe bass . The song are okay . They should have let he singers express more and featured some old members such as pappy jah , bastin why not oxy to give another level , it’s espe bass solo album isn’t ?

When it comes to var , I don’t see why  multitudes of génériques were necessary, they could have just kept it to two but strong  ones and focus on bringing bangers rumbas . Rossen song is not that bad but will it survive against the other side rumba???
I will give youyou 5/10 , he is good but not at Zaparo level when well focused
Sonor and Rama get 9/10 each , they both did a good job honestly
Both albums are okay , but not that great. 

I’ll give Nouvel Horizon project a solid 6 out of 10. I don’t like their formula of having more than 2 générique on a project beside that too much synthe on certain générique. I wish they would stop following MBOKALISATION style of synthe and go with their own things. I noticed that Sonor didn’t use the distorsion a lot

I didn’t like Espé Bass project cuz Roga talked & sing too much

It would have been so good to have zaparo with de brazza,him alone for two full generiques(despite a short bercy like "spice" by nouzabraham)
de brazza on his own is okay but a bit monotonous while with zaparo you'd have the variations in the way he animates from his natural tenor to deeper

Roga Roga messed Espe Bass’s album up. I wonder if Espe Bass had the artistic control over the album. All they had to do put as title Roga Roga interpret Espe Bass or have Roga Roga chante Espe Bass and add Roga’s picture on the album cover. Extra Musica performed as if they had no motivation.

zaparo went in france to secure long term papers and seems to wait for that and at the same time got used to "comfortable" france life,he still is considered a member of the band but its on thin ice

How were artists like Fally, Ferre, Roga Roga, and others able to get long-term papers without disrupting their careers? Usually, you'll see an artist is restricted in their travels abroad while they wait for permanent residency in Europe.

It can hurt promotion if you can't do concerts in Luanda, Brazza, Abidjan, and other key African cities where our music is popular.

pomy na mbonda came to france on his own(which fuelled rumours that he left) and he is dancing along with regis lova,who had a longer than planned/ too much comfort to go back europe stay like zaparo

At first listen. Expected better! Nouvel Horizon seem to be too much into this "bokoko" rhythm that's killing their creativity.

So far Derniere Lettre and Wapi yo for Espe and Makassa et Ouvret d'art of NH are the tracks on repeat. 

The albums are starting to grow on me. Lol

sonor explained in an interview that  they had to adapt because of fan's demand in also going by the trend of mbokalisation because its for the fans that they do music if you do  the opposite of what fans want to stay authentic its risky business wise
