Chai was rejected from joining the BCBG group

JB didn’t want Chai in the group because he wanted to give BCBG a fresh start after Kibens’ departure. Tolbert Solo became Artistic Director, and Genta became Head of Government, albeit unofficially. Chai just didn’t fit this new direction.

Most of the musicians, except JDL and Rio, didn’t want him back because of several videos where Chai undermined the younger members’ contributions and publicly insulted Genta in various media. Chai was implicitly aware of this: JB never directly said “no,” but said he’d discuss it with the orchestra, which Chai took as a rejection.

Trying to turn things around, Chai released multiple videos, thinking fans would be excited about his return but the reaction was the opposite. He even got threats from BCBG fans. In response, he said, “If the fans don’t like me, it’s fine they’ll have to see me in BCBG anyway,” which only confirmed the group’s decision not to take him back.

Hehehe, quite funny that you can try and force your return.

Am not against his return because of his insults after he left, but overall, he is not a good fit in the group.
Look at Caludji upon his return, he curved himself a niche that did not necessarily disrupt the group. He performs before the main show and does mentorship.

Chai does not bring anything; his voice is not stellar, he has aged, cannot dance and has no administrative or management skills.
Then his high hoarseness of announcing his return compared to the return of Zakoko and Metrau.

What a gall
Good riddance

I don't understand why musicians go in front of the camera and start talking smack about their former group and expect the group to welcome them back with open arms. He also publicly sided with the "enemy" aka Werrason and Maison Mere and openly called Werra his new and approved father, in Clan Wenge you can't do such things and not expect repercussions. It's not 2000 there are way better singers than Chai in Bcbg they don't need him.

THIS, AM AGAINAST
In his concerts he kept using the zenith 1999 entrance as his own entrance.
This cracked me up. :D :D

Other than his peak voice (which others didnt like anyway) Chai is one of those whose odds of success are stacked against him from the get go. If you don't have the looks like Fally atleast be charismatic. Chai has none! This is proven by him failing to release even a flop album ever since he went solo.

the dramatic period has reshaped a looot of things in bcbg, many unilateral things have become collective, and for the first time in probably 20 years they made a decision with fans very involved,if they can continue allowing fans on other things aswell bcbg might do some good things for the days and years to come
