It was the last concert of JB Mpiana from the Europe tour (September 2000 - March 2001) they did, them setting a record amount of concerts. During this concert, atalaku Kilimanjaro got presented, who came as a surprise for the fans to participate in the Internet album. I remember BCBG-fanatics claiming that Kilimanjaro would finish his brother Bill Clinton Kalonji by participating in Internet

Kindule uploading this VHS made me give some hope of seeing other cassettes of 2001 that are nowadays are today back on youtube such as the famous interview of jb mpiana with yves kambala (where jb said that he would correct bercy), the triomphal  return to kinshasa after the long Europe-tour of 2000/2001, the show at Spectrum in Montreal and FIKIN just before Bercy.

I noticed that the sound quality at Concert Noble was often poor during Congolese concerts. Was it because of the venue itself or because of concert promoters were renting cheap equipment? I wonder why Congolese concert promoters preferred that venue instead of choosing places like BOZAR, Ancienne Belgique, Théâtre Saint-Michel or even Ancienne Belgique during that period

I believe that JB Mpiana was the only Congolese artist who was able to fill Concert Noble as soon as his band stepped on stage. Other Congolese concerts at Concert Noble were often either empty or would only fill up minutes after the bandleader appeared. JB Mpiana also performed there on New Year’s Eve in 2001.

There were many women in the audience. At that time, only Koffi Olomidé was able to attract that many women to his concerts. I get it Koffi wasn’t liking JB at that era and seeing him as a threat

I really wonder what made Pina Colada stay in Europe. Was it because of him not being  satisfied with the money he received from JB for the tour and him also not having  enough money from matolo? Or did he have a personal conflict with JB or with one of the Big Three (Titina, Mpela & Calugi)?

It was a mistake to leave Ali Mbonda behind for the tour. Neither Titina nor Seguin played percussion seriously for minutes long without interruption, sometimes the percussion would even not being touched for minutes. They should have at least brought Jimmy Mbonda if they didn’t want to take Ali Mbonda.

When I saw Shagy Sharufa laughing at the beginning, I immediately thought about her testimony and jokingly told myself that she was laughing about putting shit in her clients’ food

I  wonder how Loris la Congolaise managed to stay close to both JB Mpiana and Werrason without any of them hating her or forcing her to choose sides. I also saw a young Ika de Jong, Salon Franck (I never knew his last name hahaha) and Camionette Bola being there as JB’sbodyguard. It’s really sad how he sunk low with his media appearances to insult people. I used to hold him in high regard. Has he changed or was he always like this and did the camera simply reveal his true nature?

What is the name of the albino in the audience ? He was present at all of JB Mpiana’s major events in Paris and Brussels between 1999 and 2001

I hope also that someone would re-upload this concert in a better quality, which was also in Belgium in the same year.
