With Fally's star status and fanbase, the songs will definitely rake in millions of views in days....be used in TikTok challenges and reels in the next few days...go viral and even do better when the videos come out. Personally, these kinds of songs or the world music experiment are not my cup of tea. I am a rhumba fanatic and will wait for the rhumba version where am sure to get some sweet melodies. This one I leave to world music adherents to savour and enjoy.

Well, I have not listened to the album yet, but I think there would be a generique in the rumba part of the album since this is the world part.

I actually really enjoyed this Fally album. Now it’s not true rumba but I thought his best efforts were F’Victeam project. His other albums were good but he is not as good like JB, Ferre etc. This XX album is worth listening to and I think it’s going to generate a ton of traction in the genre.

I wish he included a generique in this of some sort.

This one is actually pretty listenable for me unlike the Tokoos series - despite being urban, the somgs maintain rhumba elements. Bodes well for the rhumba album

I definitely agree there you can hear rumba elements here. I did enjoy Tookoos but I separated it from typical Congolese albums. They are comparing XX to Papa wemba “Emotion”. I can see the comparison but obviously on the idea not the song structure.

love the album is better than both of the tookos albums Pepele is banger for sure, document is the collab i wanted same with the wizkid feature thats a song i can mix while doin afrobeat mix, alifa is different from anything he has ever put out gotta afro house vibe to it loved it. this album is on the same level of formule 7 except XX is more cohesive no song drags along makin it more enjoyable to me
