Do you guys know what the most difficult part about Wazekwa's recent output is? Even if he wanted to reduce his role in music, there's no credible successor to take creative control of Cultur'A Pays-Vie. Who has the talent and aura of Joss Diena or the loyalty and visibility of Eclipse? Those men seem to comfortable in Europe to return to the grueling schedule and business of a full-time orchestra leader.

What remains in the group? A bunch of talented but obscure musicians and singers. If Ceden Play and Gesac could check their ego at the door, maybe they could take over, but it's unlikely. Therefore, Wazekwa is more or less stuck as the defender of the orchestra's legacy. The group will collapse in his absence; the donors and fans will migrate elsewhere if he retires.
