Luciana Demingongo made a huge bomb in his tribute to Carlyto Lassa. He revealed to Popol Mupasula that Carlyto Lassa didn't even finish his solo album Africa Na Moto. Luciana claimed that it was actually finished by Maika Munan because Carlyto already decided to be a gospel artist. It was revealed that former Kinshasa governor Gentily Ngobila financed Carlyto's album Africa na Moto. Even more shocking, Carlyto actually had a group called Africa Sun which never had a chance to get going because Carlyto already left secular music which was confirmed by Maitre John.
But the biggest revelation is that Carlyto actually wanted two singers to sing with him and Luciana Demingongo. Carlyto wanted Malage de Lugendo and Pepe Kalle with him as he wanted professional singers to sing with him as well as be mentors to Carlyto's band Africa Sun. Malage was in a scheduling conflict as he was with Zaiko at this time. Pepe Kalle actually wanted to be part of Carlyto's album but he turned down but he was unable to be part of it due to his worry of creating more problems with Dilu Dilumona and Papy Tex.
I think this revelation may explain how the Dilu Dilumona, Papy Tex and Pepe Kalle fallout started before the rumors about Papy Tex and Pepe Kalle's younger sister Charlie started to boom. I wouldn't be surprised if Dilu and Papy got mad at Pepe for possibly considering to work with Carlyto again.
