Some of you guys focus too much on Generiques and sebene. I’m hugeeee fan of sebene but only from artists I’m used to getting it from. For example Werra, Jb, Koffi are guys I always listened to when I wanted Sebene. Fally and Ferre have never been Sebene artists so when I listen to their albums that’s not what I’m expecting or looking for. Remember when Formule 7 came out we were all surprised he included a sebene song or the same thing with 207 at the end and we were all surprised with the sebene in the end.
That being said I don’t like that he didn’t put another sebene song in the album but to be honest that’s not what I listen to Fally for. If you go to listen to Fally for sebene then ehhhh I don’t know what to tell you 😂😂

Ehh yeah - a bit OT Ferre for example I do not rate at all for génériques since day 1 almost lol. If releases something good in a blue moon it’s a bonus but not expected.

QQJD génériques i never listened to full because they were just trash imo, but the rest of the album CD were excellent. Dynasty 2, though not the greatest album is a great road trip album and can help kill 2-3 hours on the road.

Fally I view the same now mainly since Alva left (RIP). Control has few decent ones but since then ehh not much.

I will say this I listen to Formula 7 rhumbas only on road trips among my top rotation. The Misses always has the album on also

The fact that Im liking XX so far is a good sign. I was slightly concerned  that his rhumbas was going peak at Formule 7 since some of his singles released after sounded like extensions of that album.

We really need a young Wenge like group asap to offset the drought for the sebene guys among us. That way we don’t get our hopes up for these chaps for something good

This obsession with seben or generique I only see it here. I have yet met a Congolese person who has complained about Fally’s or Ferre’s album not having enough seben songs 😅

Worst album of Fally’s career in my opinion. 51 songs but a majority of them sound the same and he sings a majority of them like damn give your singers some space. And how on earth is there’s only 1 generique/sebene on the whole album?? That’s a disgrace. It’s clear this album was a money grab.

What are you on about? Did you even listen to the album because his singers sang a lot on this album a lot more compared to his previous albums. You say the same thing every time he releases an album he gave them enough space especially Atele and Nathan.

Yes I did and there is a whole lot of songs that felt empty where a nice vocal by one of his actually good singers can be implemented. Like how do some singers like Maiko for sample get 1 vocal in a 51 song album?? And the lack of sebene is really mind blowing.

Bro we both went to Stade De France, so after seeing all the women there that attended and were singing to his rumba and tokoss music I fully get it why he does it.
Before I didn't understand even when Koffi was trying to explain the reason why he doesn't do sebene anymore but like I said after that experience at SDF I understand.
But it's true in person I've never heard anyone actually complain about Fally and Ferre's lack of sebene songs, the only time is this one because of the album only having one generique.

This is a really good album, I've been enjoying it. It's hard to pick which song is my favourite.

@CM Prince I’ve telling my buddies for the past 12 years or so that if you want to find your next wife, go to a Fally concert  . All the 10’s come out of hiding and show out for his concerts

lol so it must have gotten "worse" lol i remember being puzzled that one of my oldest nephews in germany used to joke that you need to have condoms ready if you attend a fally concert(lol these new generation say some stuff than even in our wilder dreams we could not say to our elders back then) i see from your comments that there is even more of a "threat"  now hahaha i have not been in much of the recent concert except from his ing but i could not finish the show because i was sick
