In the interview, Marie Paul said that he was lucky about the sound enigneer being a huge El Paris fan had saved a copy for himself. He handed it over to Marie Paul

I think so. Because I remember when Marie Paul came back in Europe around 2013, that he was proudly saying that Kimbombi would be produced by his "brother in law" Diego Music. However, here Papy Gene asked him if it was the album Kimbombi that he had to produce, but Marie Paul said no. So it could be an old project before Kimbombi.

Talking about Kimbombi, Marie Paul said that there are 38 songs and that it will be released in 3 parts.

So how come Roi Pele hasn't released an album yet? 19 years since his last album release. By the time 2027 comes around, it'll be 20 years! I do hope he releases Kimbombi whether it'll be this year or next year
